  1. hi fanman. how much would you be looking for for the trike? D
  2. hi helimed, not interested in selling the trike and wing, are you?
  3. thanks for the comments. the video is the one i saw. would love to see video of or description of previous tries mentioned, though. Dave
  4. i saw on an old you tube video a very modified paramotor harness and engine mounted by some kind of hinged link to a hanglider. v expensive apparently. any reason why a standard PM harness +motor couldnt just be hung in the normal hanglder fashion, by a strop, say, to the harness hangpoints, pilot launches a la doodlebug? im sure im not the first to think of this, but cant see why it wouldnt work. mind you, im not in a rush to be the first to try it, either. Dave
  5. Thanks for the info, everybody. I'm going to be keeping my eyes open for some modestly-priced 2nd-hand kit. Dave
  6. Hello, I currently fly microlights (NPPL, 25 hours on thruster tst, 200 on weightshift). before that i flew paragliders, mostly abroad, annecy and turkey. however, no formal paragliding qualification. now i'm looking to get a more minimalist in my flying. I'm torn between doodlebug (not so portable, lots of rigging) and paragliding. i'm inclined towards paragliding, mainly because of all the flyin i've ever done, the most exciting was on a paraglider. however, money is a big consideration i want to fly safe, but lots of instruction would make the whole thing uneconomic. also, i'm not sure how welcome paragliders would be at microlight strips (the only airfields i'm familiar with). where do you fly from? do these venues insist on formal training proof? I'd welcome any comments. Dave
