  2. cheers for that spigot. pete write a list of questions that i or people can ask then i know i cant get earache and i aint stired nothin up on forums if people would just answer simple questions instead of yappin on like they do without givin an answer they wouldnt need to get wound up would they. Ive asked simple relevant questions and they feel under presure and feel a need to shut ya up... this is not the secret service

    Insurance

If you would dave please pm me i will gladly give details of his name and number, i shall mention to him he may get a call but gladly give you it. i am fairly good firnds with him really now, so i cant see there bein a problem about you callin him. i wont give names and numbers on an open forum , it seems unright for some reason. please pm or call me and yes check it out for ya self, second hand information is worth nothin. I have admiration for people who go acheive rating for whatever reason they do it, so i aint against it dave. I am against people that feel they can decide who can turn up to fly ins and only allow certain wings to be used, now that to me aint right, its the pilot who decides what he flies or tries not some cenior advisor of NASSA.. OHHH i mean BHPA , phew i do get confused with the way he talks

    Insurance

And your other 'examiner' (who, incidentally, I prevented from bring uncertified wings to the National Champoinships for pilots to demo) was 'asked' to leave the BHPA some years ago. this amazes me what gives people like him the right to say who can bring anything anywere, it really frustrates me, its a non licence sport, this man carries on like he ownes the sport and invented it, I gained permission to fly in class d airspace and asked the CAA about the BHPA and what difference it would make if i had a rating regarding obtaining permission to fly from within airspace,,,, i felt daft cos they laughed and said it maked no difference whatsoever, it is a free sport and rating are not really of any value I said well they have meeting with you lot over paramotors dont they , again he laughed and said no not at all we have no interest in the BHPA, yes we sometimes direct them towards the BHPA only because they have an interest in paramotors and paragliding not because we support them, i asked a few more questions which i dont remember off hand but was told any queries regarding flyin make them the first ones to speak to to get an accurate answer,

    Insurance

tit for tat in a big way. im not really interested in any organisation for paramotors, but when it comes to insurance it needs to be worth something and gettin the correct answers matter. ask the BHPA for accurate names and figures and details of there insurance they have paid out on. no answer why i wonder? Ive dug very deep and spent money with lawers regarding insurance and its a very shady area, id like to know the lawer simon claims to have because she must be some lawer to say you are protected and can understand the law on paramotors without a licence which has no set procedure in place. Ive asked this information before but it never came.. I have only mentioned the facts of two questions i have asked which clearly matter regarding insurance from both parties and i never got the answers which i would expect if i was going to be taking insurance with any of them.

    harness

hello thankyou for the reply. the side straps have no ajustment on them so they are loose. I am slim build, what you say seems to fit with what i am experiencing, i would if possible like to see your machine.. you are not over at the flying with gabe this eve are you? over birch services? im on a number if any good 07518972211 ..
  11. just curious dave is the harness on your machine the same as walkerjet, im loose in the harness and wondering if it is normal or not for it to be that way?
  12. ibbio

    harness

im curious were i would i buy a walkerjet harness, i know there was a walkerjet dealer but i think he has stoped.. the harness i have has no padding and no ajustment straps in the middle of ya back area, im not sure its right cos i feel very loose in the harness and in roudyish weather the machine moves about a lot,, because i have really only flown this machine im not 100% it should do what it does, so considering gettin a new harness that will feel tighter, then there may not be as much movement of the machine?

  14. I have some of these wouxun radios and hey are brilliant, fm radio vhf uhf, so ya dont really need another radio. build is good compared to the other china stuff, i can comunicate clearly 15 mile away from home , it is line of sight more or less with these radios, but 15 mile inside house to inside house would take some beatin from a 5 watt hand held. i got kenwoods which dont come close
  15. FORCE certification August 2010 Following many inquiries on the certification status of Force, we would like to update you on progress with its certification 1. Finally after a long wait, we are glad to confirm : - Force M successfully completed all certification test flights. It is rated EN C on trim speed and fully accelerated on speed bar 2. Force S successfully completed all test flights for the high end of the weight range – we expect it to complete rest of the flights in the near future 3. Due to popular demand we will be adding a Force L to complete the range of Force to suit heavier pilots and for trike flying Now, it is obvious -- Force is a winner. Having the wing approved will add confidence and improve sales too The Force has been keeping us busy non-stop over the last few months – we have made 6 cuts in a row and are still behind on deliveries We are working hard to try and catch up, adding extra work hours every day, coming in at weekends and cancelling annual vacation in August A few recent comments on FORCE from pilots around the world. (latest fedback to shear with you) -------------------------------- I kept my previous wing which is only a year old while I was getting to know the Force, but have now decided there is no going back to the older wing and am fully committing to the Force now and selling off my 12 month old wing. Keith Pickersgill South Africa --------------------------------- One of the demo Force wings was used at a demo weekend with UKPPG and pilots were impressed how well it flew and how much faster it flew compared to the Dudek Plasma - the positive feedback continues I have flown most of the main wings available I would choose the Apco Force for paramotoring even if I was not the Apco UK representative. Paul Haxby U.K. ---------------------------------- I received the new APCO Force gliders on Monday and was able to test fly the Medium yesterday. My long time girlfriend Dawn test flew the Small size. Both of us were really happy with the performance of the gliders. We took off in light wind conditions and the launch didn’t take much effort. In the air the glider felt nice and the wing tip steering requires very little pressure and is very effective. The speed at full trim out was excellent and what performance it did have was beyond expectations. Thank you for your excellent work, you have come up with a very nice glider. Francesco De Santis USA ---------------------------------- Let me start by describing the FORCE as quite a formidable wing in flight. FAST Snappy (on tip brakes) SOLID Stable VF FAST! Pull up – easy, quick and direct It does not nose tuck or collapse – it just flies past you and sits there waiting for line tension …J Once airborne – what a pleasure! In all, very impressive and a machine to be understood. A flight that would ordinarily taken me closer to 1 hour on my FreeX Moon + Xplorer4 around the same points and climbs I did on Sunday with the Force/PAP combo only taking 25 minutes! Ant Allen APCO Force (S) South Africa --------------------------------------- we try the Force S, very interesting, very easy to inflate, need to run to take off but without excess speed little hard hangling but efficient, very stable and efficient in speed with trims off and good maniability with the tip steerings high speed in landing but with possibility to stop it with a flair and large breaking so, i think you do a very good glider regarding the reflex activitie Jose Ortega France ------------------------------------ BLUE SKIES Anatoly Cohn APCO Aviation Ltd. Annual August vacation is delayed this year due to heavy load of orders – vacation has been moved to September for slower season ***APCO will be closed for annual vacation September 15-October 4 inclusive*** Tel: +972 4 627 3727 Fax: +972 4 627 3728 Website: www.apcoaviation.com i will upload certification in flies under force

    Paramotor rental

I think its a good idea as a lot of pilots dont get to fly often and dont really get there value in the gear they buy. If it had been available to do when i started i would have probably done that and not bought all the gear.... obviously dependant on cost
  17. not a great deal said about this wing as yet? surely there is people owning them by now?
  18. im seeking a cheap 3 blade carbon fibre prop for the walkerjet, damaged is fine as i will repair , or posibly send me the damaged prop to get a mold from and in return your prom repaired for free
  19. curious for what reason is the prop change??
  20. If those are the pics of the prop then its a simple repair, layer it back up with the carbon fiber, then use carbon fibre to wrap round, ya will get it smooth but you will always see the join in the carbon, unless you paint it with polyurethane paint, oil based not water based. it will be like a new prop with strength like before maybe better
  21. it can be re built with carbon fiber and epoxy resin, take a mould off the other side
  22. yes if you get a good one they are very good and very clear, the earpiece is rubbish so i just the headset in to it,
  23. mmmmmmmm could that not have been saved with left brake to bring wing back above head?
