My Aerothrust harness arrived today and I have fitted it to the FB frame.
Before commiting aviation I thought I would run it past scrutiny on here, particularly Fanman.

You can see the additional aluminium bar fitted across the frame and I have used a narrow webbing (showing white) threaded through the eyelets across the top reinforcement web of the harness, to secure the harness.
I have also looped the fixed harness straps (black) to the original top bar of the frame.

I have done a hang test and it all suspends with the motor reasonably upright. I just find that when in the seat my calves are angled a lot more upwards than the FB harness.

I have now weighed the setup, empty weights - with the FB harness and back padding 30.4kg, with the Aerothrust harness 29.4kg.
